Our Story
Founded in 2009, Guadalajara Restaurant is the passion project of Lupe and Ramiro Vazquez, first-generation immigrants from Mexico. Driven by their love for authentic, homemade Mexican cuisine, they took a leap of faith and became restaurant owners—despite having no prior experience in the industry.
Their dedication and hard work paid off, and in June 2014, they expanded their thriving downtown Muscatine location, adding a third dining room and a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen to better serve their growing community. Today, Guadalajara Restaurant continues to be a place where tradition, flavor, and family come together.
